The reason you’re eating is 99% of the problem.
The human body’s need for fuel is minimal compared to the amount of food we’ve been told we need to eat each day.
We graze, we eat huge portions, we’ve convinced ourselves we need to eat 6-8 times per day to lose weight.
Experts are full of all the advice you could ever need, but the only authority on what your body needs is you.
The trick is to get quiet enough to hear what it’s telling you.
WHEN YOU STOP EATING TO FILL YOUR EMOTIONAL NEEDS (OR EAT TO STUFF THEM DOWN), YOUR BODY WILL NATURALLY RETURN TO IT’S NORMAL WEIGHT.
Your body may not going to return to it’s normal weight like ice cream melting on a hot summer’s day, but it most assuredly will.
You have permission to ignore your inner mean girl this year when she tells you to “go on a diet” or “you’ve got to do a cleanse” to get your New Year off to a good start. Because frankly she’s never been right, yet.
Why not try a new approach;
- Spend 10—20 minutes quieting your brain every day.
- Eat without any distractions (tv, work, reading, etc.).
- Enjoy what you’re eating…really, notice every bite.
- Stop as soon as you’re satisfied.
If you do that you can that, you’ll never struggle with your weight again.
